Help Wanted! Casual Employment Opportunity
With trail maintenance season just around the corner, HMBA is considering onboarding more casual employees for some planned maintenance work this year.
While HMBA prefers to rely on volunteer efforts from our membership base, it is sometimes necessary for our organization to seek out ‘hired help’ for trail maintenance and development. Sometimes contractors offer extensive trail design and building capacities that are required for new trail development. Other times, casual employees may help us accomplish necessary trail maintenance that is time sensitive in order to prepare for an upcoming event or contracted project. Regardless, the more volunteer support that we receive, the further our trail maintenance dollars will take us!
If you think you have some serious trail maintenance skills and are comfortable operating a leaf blower, weed wacker, brush saw, chainsaw, etc - let us know! We are trying to identify the skills that exist in our community for work that is too comprehensive to task to volunteers. Pay wage will be determined based on potential candidate experience.
