Here we are, at the conclusion of our Beavers' Tale, after one amazing, jam-packed everything-bike weekend!!! We were lucky to have a few shots of the Beavers, but they insisted in keeping a low profile until it was time to make their big Ta-D'ah! On Friday, September 13th, AFD Racing set up their Acro Bag near the curling rink for kids (and beavers) of all ages to get some fun air with their bikes.

Some lucky HMBA members were paddling on Jarvis Creek one afternoon during the September long weekend... and look who they meet along the meandering channels! The travelling wood-chompin' trio were so excited to show the canoers their summer vacation paradise. They were quite proud of the dam they built! They became tour guides for the lucky family of paddlers.

One of the BBF beavers was spotted on stage with Elliott Brood at the Wild Mountain Music Festival! Luckily, someone with a keen eye and handy camera was able to snap these shots! Thanks Chad!
Somehow, this beaver managed to sneak on stage!

After taking advantage of the extensive trail system around Happy Creek with their "borrowed" bike, the three beavers figured out why they kept going by that same post. Only when their bike succumbed to a flat tire and they could go no farther did they realize, that truly, they were just "Totally Lost".

Bertie the Beaver was at work (Dam inspector for Environment and Sustainable Resource Development) when he heard the rain.
Outside for a closer look...
Shakes his fist at the rain clouds... He knows now his fav bike fest will have to wait till another time!
And oh ya... he was also asked where his little trophy friends were? I was not man enough to tell him about the story.

Well... The third beaver has been found! Stacey Gross got lucky when snuck her head into the climbing wall area at the rec centre and found Karine Pigeon being chased up the wall!!!
Lucky she's not a half bad climber... ;-).
Now... Unfortunately Stacey spent too much time trying to take cool photos... And the little bark eater ran out the door and into the rain... Come on people, forget about the pictures and lets capture back our BBF trophies!!!

The 3 beavers, that were supposed to be stuffed play toys that were to be prizes for BBF winners but came to life and escaped in a terrifying event one would think that only Michael Mann could come up with... they have been spotted!!! They were first spotted building a sand castle on a beach (obviously these are urban beavers and don't know who to build a proper beaver home).
When they realized they'd be found the little one (again!) beaver-chopped (similar to a karate chop but ... different) a tourist and a took their canoe!
Later... a fisherwoman saw this from afar... obviously they have made their way to a friend's house! Big question: Where is the third beaver!?!?!? Keep your eyes open... especially for the little gaffer!
